THE MEDITERRANEE (PROTECTED GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION) COVERS A VAST AREA THAT UNITES VINEYARDS OF THE ENTIRE REGION, FROM THE SOUTHERN RHONE VALLEY TO PROVENCE. THE MÉDITERRANÉE TERROIR IS CHARACTERISED BY MIXED ALTITUDES, WITH PLAINS SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE HEIGHTS OF THE ALPS. THE REGION’S FAMOUS MISTRAL WIND PURIFIES THE VINEYARD, AND LETS IN SUNLIGHT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
